This is the first release of our video CE program, based on the award-winning film, “The Gestalt Art Experience With Janie Rhyne”. This Art Therapy video program features master Art Therapist, Janie Rhyne, Ph.D., ATR, described in the American Journal of Art Therapy as “the founder of gestalt art therapy”.
The film was produced by Janet Greenwood, Ph.D., MFT, RN and Registered Art Therapist, director of "myceusonline", in 1976. Exclusively distributed by U.C. Berkeley Films for 27 years, the art and spirit of Janie Rhyne live on through this video! Now available for professionals and students of the healing arts in both DVD and VHS formats.
Janie Rhyne, Ph.D., ATR, was a pioneer in the field of Art Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. She was a co-founder of the Gestalt Institute of San Francisco and a well-known practitioner in the early days at Esalen Institute along with her mentor, Fritz Perls.
Janie’s warmth, compassion, brilliance and humanistic approach to Gestalt Art Therapy is demonstrated in a way that cannot be taught through the written word.
